City Turns-over New Pick-up Patrol Trucks

(Wednesday, 25th day of July 2018)

Iligan City – Acting City Mayor Vera Cruz, City Councilors, City Director Manuel Sukarno Alvarez and Deputy City Director for Administration PSUPT Paciano Deloso along with other PNP key officers, joined the flag raising ceremony on July 23 for the turnover and blessing of six (6) brand new pick-up patrol trucks by the City Government to the Iligan City Police at the Anahaw Amphi Theater. The trucks were blessed by Rev. Father Elijah Sansona.

City Director Alvarez thanked Acting City Mayor Vera Cruz and the local government for the untiring and continuous support to the PNP. He also added that these latest additions of patrol cars will be used to reinforce the fight against crimes, provide police visibility around the city and further improve the logistic capabilities of the local police force in patrolling the communities, thus it will ensure that peace and order is maintained in their respective areas of responsibility. These newly added trucks, all of these, we will use to continue the peace and development of our city. Peace is the key to the advancement of a place. All of these given by Crame and LGU, wouldn’t also be successful if all of us living here in Iligan wouldn’t help each other. A lot of thanks for everybody’s assistance, I was expecting your help anyway, that all of us would work together because nobody else would appreciate, nobody else would gain, nobody else would benefit from the peace we are experiencing today in Iligan, but we, Iliganons. I’ll be ending my speech with an encouragement for us Iliganons to continue helping each other for the betterment of Iligan.) This aid will further launch and improve the capabilities of our police units to respond quickly to calls for law enforcement and police service.
