ILIGAN CITY HALL – nestled a top of Buhanginan Hill (130 feet above sea level). Built in 1956. It is also a favorite promontory of Iliganons for viewing the sunset or skyline of the city by night.

     
 
ANAHAW OPEN AMPHI-THEATER – Located at the Buhanginan Hill in the southeastern side of city hall. It is only 2.3 kilometers from the city proper. Probably the biggest open amphitheater in Mindanao. A beautiful site to view Iligan City, where children can romp around the playground. The road going to the top of the hill is a challenge and favorite destination for early morning exercise.
     
 
 

TIMOGA SWIMMING POOL- is one of the spots that you can onlu found in Iligan City, Philippines. It was one of the spots in Iligan were the neighboring cities and foreigners are visiting this place due to its amazing and fantastic beauty. In fact, its not just about the beauty of the place but its about the natural overflowing water were you can possibly had your great time together with your family and friends. Timoga Pools is consist of 5 different owners and designs.

     
 

MARIA CRISTINA FALLS – Iligan’s greatest heritage, the landmark of Iligan City. The most resplendent among the 20 plus waterfalls. Also known as the “Mother of Industry” and “Fountainhead of Progress.” It is 320 feet high, spews 130 cubic meters per second of water and the veritable source of industrial power in the city. Located at the borders of Barangay Maria Cristina, Ditucalan and Buru-un 9.3 kilometers away from the city proper. Since its water is being harnessed for electric power, full grandeur viewing of the waterfalls is every Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 in the morning.

     
 
MIMBALUT FALLS - a not so high and mighty falls with a drop of approximately 90 feet high and is 18 ft. wide, but very alluring with its naturally limpid water. It is a site to behold and provides an enjoyable swimming spot, 11.0 kilometers away from the city proper.

 

     
 

TINAGO FALLS – literally hidden in a deep ravine, the falls cascading beautifully into a basin-like pool, clean, and deep and icy cold. It has an elevation of approximately 420 feet. It is 13.8 kilometers away from the city proper. Access to the falls is through the Iligan Tinago Mountain Resort, managed by the City Tourism Office with an entrance fee of P10.00.

     
 

LIMUNSUDAN FALLS – 35 kilometers away from the city proper. It has the claim of being the country’s highest waterfalls. It is a breathtaking two-tiered falls. The lower cascade alone is higher than the 320 feet Maria Cristina Falls. It has a total height of 870 feet. It is close to the eastern boundaries of Iligan, Bukidnon and Lanao del Sur. To reach the waterfalls, one has to trek for 2 days from Kalamalamahan, Barangay Rogongon, Iligan City.

     
 
MOUNT AGAD-AGAD – Approximately 1,600 feet above sea level, considered as the highest mountain in Iligan City; safe for trekking, mountain climbing and camping. 5.5 kilometers away from the city proper. The hanging bridge connecting the main road and jump off point to the foot of the mountain is an experience in itself.

 

     
 

HINDANG FALLS AND CAVES – a 40 ft. high two-tiered waterfalls with a lagoon ideal for swimming. Located at hinterland Barangay Hindang, approximately 20 kilometers from the city. Other attractions of the Barangay are the 6-8 cave clusters. Most caves have narrow entrance with long and deep chambers.

     
 

MAZE PARKS AND RESORT – a perfect place for nature lovers who appreciate the beauty of solace. 11 kilometers away from the city proper with an Olympic-size swimming pool and other pools with varying shapes and sizes, cottages, function hall, restaurant, botanical park and mini zoo.

     
     
 
TAYTAY SWIMMING POOL – located at Barangay Ditucalan with two swminning pools (for children and adults) with cottages and supplied with free-flowing Ditucalan spring water, the same source as the drinking water of most of Iligan’s residents.

 

     
 

GOLF COURSE – a 9-hole golf course laid out on gently rolling low green hills. Located in Barangay Tipanoy, 6 kilometers from the city proper.

     
  Iligan City's First Zipline is located just few kilometers away outside the city. Located inside the Plant Complex of Agus 6 & 7 Hydro plants where the natural beauty of Natures Park and the famous Maria Cristina falls.
