Vice Mayor Vera Cruz calls for unity and efficient service for the “Iliganons”

Iligan City – Vice Mayor Jemar Vera Cruz delivered a speech before City Hall employees during the flag-raising ceremony on October 29 at the City Hall Anahaw Amphitheater. The Cooperative Development and Livelihood Office (CDLO) hosted the said ceremony.

In line with the celebration, the City Government of Iligan also took the formal oath-taking of the youth organizations officiated by Vice Mayor Vera Cruz.

Moreover, he urged the city hall employees to work hand in hand by calling for unity in restoring self-discipline for everyone.  Speaking before government workers who attended the Monday’s flag-raising ceremony, he acknowledged these were the words that Mayor Regencia lived by as the “father of the city” for the good of his people.

In his speech, he also vowed to deliver on their campaigne promise that they did not run for money and for personal interests but to fulfill all their campaign promises together with the current administration saying he is working to ensure an efficient service to the people.

The celebration aims of uniting locals and visitors in the spirit of humanity that the city stood for, also serving as a reminder to do something good and initiate a culture of kindness and service to humanity.
